Step 1 of 5 20% Three forms of financial aidThere are three types of financial aid offered by Cantus Youth Choirs. Financial Aid is granted on a case-by-case basis as determined by Cantus directors and the Board. Work-Study Tuition Waiver. This form of financial aid may be offered to parents and singers who trade partial or full tuition in exchange for work. Directors and families will work together to define the terms of the work study plan. Approximately 10 minutes to complete. Need-Based Tuition Waiver. To qualify for this form of financial aid, households will need to disclose household income and expenses. All applications are blindly assessed by the Cantus board of directors and are awarded (1) as funds are available and (2) based on need. Approximately 30 minutes to complete. Tuition Deferment Payment Plan. This financial aid is negotiated with families who may need a longer term than 6 months to pay their tuition. Also for families who have unexpected financial hardship.
