Hailey Christensen
Interim Associate Director
Hailey Christensen has had a lifelong love of music and performing. She made her first appearance on stage at just three years old and has been pursuing opportunities to sing, perform, and develop her talents ever since. Growing up in Idaho, she was fortunate to spend eight years as a member of Cantus Youth Choirs, where she developed a deep appreciation for choral music and lifelong friendships. During her time with Cantus, she was also a featured soloist in the music videos Tell Your Heart to Beat Again by Bella Visi and Rain by VoiceOver.
Following high school, Hailey served a Performing Mission in Nauvoo, Illinois, where she had the opportunity to share her love of music and theater with audiences from around the world. She later attended Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Dance Theatre in 2026. Throughout her education, she studied voice for more than ten years under the mentorship of Michelle Pedersen, Allison Linton, Korianne Johnson, and Erin Wilson.
Hailey has enjoyed performing in a wide variety of musical productions. Some of her favorite leading roles include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, Christine Daaé in Phantom, Laurey Williams in Oklahoma!, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family. She has also appeared in productions of She Loves Me, Matilda, Romeo and Juliet, Annie Get Your Gun, Cinderella, It’s a Wonderful Life, Peter Pan, and Newsies. In addition to musical theatre, she was an active member of her high school choir program and was selected to participate in the Idaho All-State Choir.
Hailey’s greatest passion is helping young singers discover confidence in themselves through music. She believes that choral music provides a unique opportunity for youth to develop musicianship, meaningful friendships, and a lifelong love of performing. She hopes to one day teach private voice lessons and help students find both confidence and joy on the stage.
Hailey and her husband, Kade, recently returned to Idaho after graduating from BYU and are excited to be here. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing the piano, volleyball and pickleball, and making memories with family and friends. She is honored to return to Cantus Youth Choirs and is thrilled for the opportunity to work with these talented singers.
