Heather Walker

Photographer

As a photographer, musician, award-winning artist, and concert producer, Heather Walker has spent over 18 years capturing families, seniors and children through her lens, building her signature style around light. She works as owner and artist for The Light Gallery–an online faith inspired art venue. She has been enjoying her role as Cantus Photographer for the last seven years where her love for music and photography come together. 

A former piano teacher and vocalist, she studied with Professor Karma Echols and Allison Linton. She has performed in countless choirs and ensembles, enjoys soloing and currently sings in the Millennial Choirs and Orchestra (MCO) with her husband. She kicked off her stage debut as a young girl playing Toto in the Wizard of Oz. She has since performed in lead roles such as Grace in Annie and Fiona in Brigadoon.

She and her husband Sean have ten children who have all loved and been blessed by Cantus! They enjoy singing together (most often kitchen concerts!) and making music videos. She is determined to learn how to do a cartwheel (maybe in the next life) and overcome her fear of heights while keeping up with her kids on the ski slopes.
