Tour 2025 – Deposit

(1) Registration includes 2 preliminary steps: (a) signing and submitting this Registration to Cantus; and (b) paying the $100 Tour deposit online to Cantus. (2) Once those 2 steps are complete, your name will be added to the Tour registrant list in the order received. As conditions subsequent to Registration for qualifying registrants, you and your parent/custodian will need to sign and submit the Tour Agreement, complete Tour payment, participate in required rehearsals, satisfactorily pass all testing standards, and otherwise comport with this Registration as further described below (the “Tour Requirements.”) (3) Once you have registered, you are committed to pay the full Tour amount, to participate in all Tour activities at Disneyland, and to otherwise fulfill all Tour Requirements. If you become unable to attend Tour, or change your mind, you have 2 choices: pay the full Tour amount anyway, or sell your spot in Tour to another singer who agrees to the terms and conditions of the Tour in a manner acceptable to Cantus. All Tour payments are nonrefundable. (We are not trying to be mean, but we commit money to your spot and can't get that back, so we have to be strict about this.) (4) You need to submit a signed Registration and pay online the Tour deposit for each participating singer.

Tour is currently estimated at $620 per singer. Price varies based on how many Tour enrollments we receive. If we hit full capacity of 110 singers, the price will drop to $500 per singer. The deposit is $100, due upon registration. The second payment of $260 is due November 12, 2024. The third payment will vary based on the number of Tour participants, with a minimum payment of $140 and a maximum payment of $260. Late fees of $50/day apply for any balances owed on 1/14/2025 until 1/19/2025, and then the singer will be dropped from the Tour roster with no refund. There is no flexibility with our final payment deadline of 1/20/2025 to Disney. We are doing everything we can to keep the costs low. While not anticipated, all costs are subject to any cost changes from Disney. Families are responsible, among other things, for paying for their own travel, lodging, park admission for any non-touring singers and family members, food, clothing, and either a magic band or internet-capable device to scan into rides at the Disney theme parks.

You will be expected to uphold a very high standard of behavior and dress while on Tour even though you will be in the care of your family. Prior to Tour, you and your parents/guardians will need to timely sign and submit a Tour Agreement that, among other things, outlines these Tour behavior standards in more detail. If you are not willing to be a "team player," refrain from any belligerent or bullying behavior, and abide by expected cooperative behavior standards for the duration of Tour, you should not register to participate.

Because Tour is a supplementary experience to the rest of the Cantus season, the following is required to participate in Tour: (1) Commit to have sheet music printed for 11/16/24 mandatory Tour kick-off. (2) Commit to downloading and practicing all practice files weekly, starting 11/16/24. (3) Commit to attend all three mandatory tour rehearsals (exceptions must be approved before registering for Tour; failure to attend constitutes a forfeiture of your registration without refund of any Tour payment). (4) Commit to learning the Tour music on their own. (5) Commit to memorizing the Tour music by 1/25/25 testing and then submitting weekly practice sessions until March Tour. (6) Commit to passing all regular Cantus testing for non-touring Season 15 music. Please think carefully about whether or not you can handle these additional responsibilities as failure to pass the testing (at the sole discretion of Cantus) may result in forfeiture of your Tour spot without any refund.

We will perform and workshop on possible school days, depending on your school district’s Spring Break schedule (Thursday, May 20, 2025 and Friday, May 21, 2025). If your child will be missing school, it is your family's responsibility to arrange for the absence. We encourage you to be good citizens of your school communities and represent Cantus respectfully by arranging things in advance, including obtaining homework, make-up work, etc. If your school requires certification of your participation in this Tour please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to help.

Cell Phones AND Internet‐capable Devices: includes ipod touches, ipads, handheld games, etc.: (1) Must be turned off when in the backstage Disney area, during the performance, and workshop. (2) May not have explicit content or mature-rated videos, even if you are in the guardianship of your family. (3) Singers who expose other Cantus members to mature, violent, intimidating, pornographic, explicit, or otherwise disturbing content (at the sole judgment of Cantus) will be subject to permanent removed from Cantus and the Tour without any refund.

Conflicts with the Mandatory Tour Rehearsals must be approved prior to registering for tour. Please email Erika McCauley for approval to register.
