Orientation Materials for Cantus Tour 2025 to Anaheim’s Disneyland and California Adventure

Tour Overview

One hundred and ten (110) Cantus singers can perform at Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Thursday, March 20, with a recording workshop on Friday, March 21, 2025. Singers are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and dining. Families are encouraged to come too.

Tour Costs

Disney will only permit 110 singers to take the stage. Tour registrations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. The price of the tour will vary based on the number of singers who register.

$565

per singer

Price includes 2-day Disneyland park-hopper admission ticket for singers, the performance and workshop fees, and the tour shirt. Singer tickets must be purchased through Cantus and linked in advance to the Disneyland app by the singer’s family. Accompanying families should purchase park hoppers for at least March 20 if you want to watch the performance; Disney reserves the right to change the venue at the last minute and it could be in either Disneyland or California Adventure.

Payment Schedule

Families will be expected to make payments by the following dates. Late fees of $50/day apply for any balances owed on 1/14/2025 until 1/19/2025, and then the singer will be dropped from the tour roster with no refund. There is no flexibility with our final payment deadline of 1/20/2025 to Disney. We are doing everything we can to keep the costs low.

Outfits and Supplies

March 20 Performance Outfit and supplies

Disney is very particular about performance outfits. We are not allowed to wear in the park before or after the performance. Singers will have 20 minutes to change in a backstage area. We cannot change in the park bathrooms–our group can get in trouble for this. No wrinkles or exceptions; Disney will pre-screen right before performance and singers not in compliance will not be allowed to perform.

Performance day outfit logistics: Singers will put their performance outfit in a garment bag labeled with their name (includes tour t-shirt, black slacks, black socks, black shoes, black belt … everything must be solid black), and drop that off at a location in Anaheim TBD on Wednesday night between 6pm-8pm. The next morning, singers will dress for the park in casual clothes of their choice and bring a labeled backpack with them (including any hair supplies or makeup). We’ll meet at the designated time/place, go backstage, change into performance outfits, go on stage, perform, exit to backstage, change back into casual clothes, and pack their performance outfit in their backpack. Tour t-shirts may ONLY be worn during the performance.

Cantus provides:

  • Tour t-shirt (to be put on directly before the performance, and changed out of directly following)
  • 2-day park hopper ticket (you need to load that ticket onto the Disneyland app)

You will provide:

  • Black dress slacks (no jeans, sweats, athletic pants, etc) with black belt
  • Black dress socks
  • Solid black, closed-toe dress shoes with less than 1 inch heel
  • Hair and makeup as advised by Disney
  • labeled backpack with makeup and hair supplies
  • money for food or packed food
  • money for locker rental (optional)
  • Magicband+ or cell phone for scanning into rides and mobile food ordering

March 21 Workshop Outfit and supplies

You may not change in the park bathrooms–our group can get in trouble for this. Please consider wearing your tour shirt all day.

Cantus provides:

  • Tour t-shirt (may be worn all day).

You will provide:

  • Casual pants, shorts, or skirt (must be at least mid-thigh)
  • Supportive walking shoes
