Allison Linton began performing publicly at the age of five. With “toy record player” in hand, she took her music on the road, literally, singing for her neighbors and accepting baked goods as payment. By the age of seven, she landed a role in her first full-length production of the show Within These Walls. Now a seasoned vocalist, her versatility as a performer has allowed her career to encompass both a wide range of performance genres, from opera to musical theatre to concert works, and the pedagogy of contemporary singing styles.
Allison Linton holds a BFA from Brigham Young University in Musical Theatre, with Vocal Performance studies, and has been teaching voice for over 17 years. Her students have won local National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competitions, Idaho IMEA State and District competitions, Illinois ISMTA State competitions, and many have been awarded vocal scholarships to top university Vocal Performance & Musical Theatre programs.
Many of Allison’s current and past students have achieved successful careers as professional singers, voice teachers and music educators. She is currently serving as the Vice President of the Treasure Valley NATS Chapter. Music has brought much joy to Allison’s life, but she believes her greatest accomplishment is that of being a wife, and a mother to her four children.
