After solos and dance placements are awarded, the Step in Time ensemble will pick the rehearsal block that doesn’t interfere with their traditional or contemporary ensemble meeting time. The Step in Time ensemble will rehearse during block 1 (5:45-6:45) OR block 3 (8:15-9:15) on Tuesday nights.

Choreography Practice Videos
Please read this first! For 7-12th grade boys and girls. Everyone sings WHILE dancing. This song is choreographed for two groups that trade featured times on center stage (Group 1 and Group 2). You only need to learn Group 1 OR Group 2.
Things to consider before you audition: Group 1 has about 8 more bars of choreo than group 2. Group 2 has a heel klick and a barrel roll jump while holding a sweep. Please watch the FULL CHOREO FROM FRONT video to see how the whole thing goes. Part 4 is the most challenging section. We recommend learning part 4 first.
There are five parts to the choreo:
- Part 1 (measure 1-22), featuring Group 1
- Part 2 (measure 19-29) featuring Group 2
- Part 3 (measure 26-34) featuring Group 1
- Part 4 (measure 33-51, stomp section) featuring Group 1 and Group 2
- Part 5 (measure 52-end) featuring Group 1 and Group 2
