Esther, a two-act musical, dramatizes the biblical story of an orphaned Jewish girl who becomes Queen of Persia. Set in the Persian Empire, it focuses on her courage to save her people, divine providence, and God’s quiet orchestration through “ordinary” people.
Currently, in development by Kimberly Kofoed, this two-night rehearsal is for a pickup choir to record the ensemble parts for this musical. Please come, learn the parts, and record them with us! All you have to do is show up, we’ll teach you the music, we’ll learn it, and we’ll record it in short segments.
