On Friday, April 19, 2019 at 7pm, Cantus Youth Choirs is proud to present the Season Finale Concert, HOME: A TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN MUSIC. 

Over 340 youth singers from across the Treasure Valley will take the stage to celebrate hymns, folk songs and  anthems that have helped build our rich American history. Audience guests will be treated to performances from eight ensembles, four traditional and four contemporary.

This production will include nostalgic favorites like Homeward Bound, Pilgrim’s Song, No Time, Simple Gifts, and Shenandoah. Turkey In the Straw, Yankee Doodle, and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy will celebrate America in a livelier fashion. The first half of the concert will climax with Peter Wilhousky’s seminal arrangement of Battle Hymn of the Republic.

This production will be best enjoyed by guests 8 years and older. Please no babes-in-arms. Every attendee will need to purchase a ticket.
